About Barfly

Barfly is a restaurant/bar with delicious American/TexMex food and great cocktails at an affordable price. Our restaurant has a diverse menu sure to satisfy every palate, check us out on the Meituan app and have a look at what we have to offer.

At night, our bar staff will happily make all the popular cocktails as well as beer on tap or bottled. We have Kirin beer on tap, as well as some craft beer from The Boxing Cat brewery.

With daily food specials and regularly scheduled events and parties, you’re sure to find something to interest you here. We have hosted many birthday parties, so feel free to contact us if you’d like to celebrate your special day with us. Birthday discounts apply!

We also have a wide variety of games and entertainment from pool, darts, and dice, to Catan, chess, cards and video games.

Barfly is the kind of place where you can count on walking in and there will always be someone to talk to; someone at the bar, or Alex and Kris behind the bar. They put on a lot of activities such as game nights, the fabulous Girl Power night, exhibitions and Celebrity Bartender nights. The home baked food is pretty amazing and I'm a huge fan of the brezel. A great local pub!

Barfly is a decent bar. In terms of atmosphere, the closest you'll get to a British pub in Kunming, complete with scruffy, foul-mouthed English landlord. Nice range of beers, some a bit dear, having said that, one of them's a 12% stout that'll knock your twat off. Food's alright, sausage and mash and the sorts. Barfly is a good place to go to meet people, good mix of foreigners and Chinese, hardly ever any fighting. They have a regular pub quiz and music-themed nights, and it's not uncommon to enjoy a light-night lock in if you time it right. One of my favourite places to have a drink as a matter of fact.

Great pub! Lovely to have a place to go and chat at anytime, great beers on tap. The stout is especially good but more like wine at 12% alcohol. Food is really good and very friendly atmosphere for anyone from anywhere
